Windows 10 OS Crashing Fix

A few months after getting Win10, I experienced daily system crashes throughout the day (2-3 on a good day). I searched the internet for a solution, but I came across many faulty fixes. I had thought of re-installing my OS, but I was kind of iffy on that since I had gathered up a lot of games and I wasn't sure how a fresh re-boot would affect them. Just recently, I found something that worked for me and I haven't had a system crash since then. Everything is in tip-top shape now.

If you're running into constant system crashes without explanation (whether it be windows 7, 8, 10) then this might be able to help. All this solution does is scan your entire computer for any corrupt files and repairs them. I tried many variations of this "file repair" method, but this was the only one that worked for me.

1) Open up your command prompt (CMD) as administrator.

2) Copy and paste the following line:

    sfc /scannow

3) let the CMD run it's course ( it took several minutes for me) and hope for the best.

IM not too sure, but I believe you may need to be connected to the internet for this. Don't remember, but I believe Bamul was running into computer crashes lately. maybe this might help. KEEP IT GOP
