Haven't been riding for a while now and it's getting really cold out but today the skies were blue and had ~11 degrees celcius most of the day so I took a long ride to the northern point on a half-island in the middle of the Oslo-fjord which is the bay that goes in to the capital, was a nice ride with a lot of fun roads and nice views. Was a little chilly though, but nothing unbearable

I always thought you were older than me by a couple months, but I guess it's the other way around I think it's cool that you, skaara, and I are all only but a few months apart in terms of our birthdays.

Thanks, butr I don't do wheelies... not yet, at least :P I want to, but my bike isn't really designed for it, you know. Low base of gravity since it's a bobber, and yet the same length as normal bikes, perhaps even more than the common sportsbike. That combined with not too many horsepowers, makes it very difficult. I have tried. But apparently, it is possible because I've actually seen a guy doing it on the same bike, at 0:56 and 1:56 in this video:

I made a top-five video. It's just over 6 min long. If you got nothing else to watch (I mean really, this is the last thing you should waste your time watching), then go ahead and view this. It's rather shitty. If it leaves you feeling disgusted, then leave a like. Also, I tried making all the clips roughly the same sound volume throughout; however, after viewing the finished product, the last clip seems to be a little quieter than the rest. I might go back and re-upload with it fixed, but if you guys think it isn't too bad, then I'll just leave it as is. Everything else is okay. Thanks

Yes, my blyatday was great - plenty of vodka too. I did stash a bag of semechki at my gf's place, but we have not opened them yet. I will give the video a watch soon.

Thanks for asking, it's going great, despite the current spider-season, and it's a semi-basement apartment haha.....
It's a little small but it's definitely big enough for one person, and could work for two. Either way, I might move in with my girlfriend come summer, and with our combined economy, we'll be able to afford a much much nicer place!

Been correcting errors in the girlfriend's cinematic upbringing... she has now seen Blade Runner, Godfather trilogy, Alien and Predator films. After we get back from Suomi I will start working on converting her into a Star Wars geek.

Got back from Finland and Estonia recently, can confirm that converting my other half into a Star Wars geek has been a success.

Well, I think I can say that this forum is dead now, even with us few old-timers still "remaining".

I've had a great time this christmas, went to the annual Winter-Lan with friends and this time it was bigger than ever, 35 people in one big place we rented, it was great :D

Finland was absolutely lovely, easily some of the best moments of my life - mostly thanks to the girl I was with. But also Suomi is soooo beautiful, the countryside in many ways reminded me of Poland. Helsinki is very impressive and a nice city, but I think I actually liked Tampere more. It is a really interesting place with some cool socialist elements, such as a history of workers' movements and an awesome Lenin museum. In Estonia I only went to Tallinn, though we wandered about there for almost 10 hours, and it was amazing. It's a very touristy city and it's hard not to notice why, the old town is wonderful. Back in Finland though, I went to some cozy small towns too and met my girlfriend's family too, spent Christmas and New Year's Eve over there.

Sounds kickass Bamul. That Lenin museum sounds cyka blyat. I always see European travel shows and get a bit jelly at how beautiful your guys' country side is. Aight, well, My christmas was good. Can't complain. However, it was fairly warm over here during that time of year. I know I live in a desert and all, but during Christmas time, I'm use to below freezing temperatures. This year I was able walk around comfortably without a jacket.

I've also completed my first year on the job with the fire department. I no longer have a yellow dumb probationary firefighter helmet. I've now upgraded to a nice red one how it should be

I've also purchased my first vehicle. After my dad let me drive his for a couple years, i've finally found one of my own! I was thinking about getting a modern car or at least an old muscle car, but I grew so attached to my dads that I couldn't do it. I ended up getting a slightly later model than his.

The cool thing about it is that's it's 4x4 and I can take it on all the sand dunes and mountains with no problem. I'll have to post some pics next time I go.

I've also purchase a couple more guns (which I'll post another time). Yeah, still the same old cheeki breeki dude you all remember.

That must've gotten a full make-over rather recently, red paint does not stay shiny like that for so long in the sun! The wheels and everything just looks so amazing, and best of all: No rust as far as I can tell!
I'm thinking you must've paid a fortune for this thing 'cause there's not that many of them on the road anymore, and especially not in a condition like that, but then I realized you live in 'murica, haha. Sometimes I wish I did too
